Early music vocal course - 6th edition
The 6th edition of the Early music vocal Course in Requena (Valencia, Spain) will take place between April 2nd and 5th, 2026, organized by Música Trobada and the Municipality of Requena.
Meant for voice professionals and college-degree music students, the four days will be divided among individual lessons for vocal technique and repertoire, conferences and different concerts, which will be set in an unsurpassable environment and guided by consolidated professionals.
Once the course is finished, students will receive an attendance certificate.
The audits will have access to all the activities of the course and preferential seating in the concerts.
The students of the course will be required to prepare the choral parts and, if they so wish, also the solo parts that are suitable for their vocal range of the work Membra Jesu Nostri BuxWV 75 by Dietrich Buxtehude.
It will be performed on Saturday, April 4, as part of the Sacred Music Week of Requena, together with the Ensemble Música Trobada.
In addition, they must bring 2 or 3 works from the Renaissance or Baroque repertoire of their choice, with at least one of them being sacred.
During the course, students will sing in a concert organized by the Sacred Music Week of Requena and will be selected to be awarded a professional concert together with Música Trobada in 2026/2027 season.

4- The payment of the course for students (€200) will be made after confirmation by the organization.
*In case of exceeding the time availability of the teaching staff and the organization, a selection of the students will be carried out by curriculum and registration order.
